The happiest place on earth is undoubtedly a must see location. Since the only time of year my family and I could go was the summer when our four children were on summer vacation, we decided to escape the Florida heat and venture towards the west coast and see Disneyland in California versus Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Another reason we chose California over Florida was that my husband had a time constraint of 3 days off work, so it would have been difficult to get our moneys worth in a large facility like Disney World.
One of the most joyous looks was upon our children’s faces when my husband and I surprised them with the news. Having two boys and two girls it was often difficult to find an activity or location that everyone would enjoy, however no one could protest to a trip to Disneyland! Even my husband and I were excited as this was the first time attending the park.
To save money, we did not stay at a hotel on the resort, but still in Anaheim. We ended up purchasing tickets through a tour company that included transportation and the ticket, thus also saving money versus taking a taxi. The company picked us up on time in the morning and we were off!
Every corner in Disneyland had the most intricate details of craftsmanship it was as if we stepped off into a cartoon. At the entrance there is a guide providing a short narration and some facts about the park. I would recommend this information to any first timers viewing the location.
Luckily the day we went was sunny with a lovely breeze, allowing us to be comfortable in a t- new orleans pelicans t shirt and jeans. Comfortable detroit tigers dallas cowboys hawaiian shirt were necessary as there are long periods of walking and standing. On the contrary there were plenty of seats available to sit, even though my family was too excited to stop for a second. The crowd varied from day to day and purchasing the additional line cut became rather handy, insuring that we could enjoy our time versus standing in line for up to an hour each ride!
All three nights we insisted on seeing the magnificent light show, so brilliantly mastered. Overall, I can honestly say our family lived happily ever after during our vacation.
